Disney Studios Park

Here, unlike Disneyland park, it is more cinema oriented. In Disney Studios Park, we no longer speak of lands but lots.

Explore the park

Front Lot

It is a large square bounded, to the northeast, by the park gates, and to the southwest by Studio 1. It also has two buildings located on either side of the square.

A fountain adorns the square in its center. It represents  Mickey made up in L’ Apprenti sorcier de  Fantasia, filling a basin with magic brooms. The aesthetics of the buildings evoke the Hispanic architecture of  California.

Studio 1 is the name of the large building which faces the entrance to the park and serves as shopping but covered street. It presents a   mythical Hollywood as it could have existed during the Golden Age in the

The 1930s, and reveals the artifices of the decorators with its many “hidden” shops behind real cinema facades.

After Studio 1 opens the main square of the Disney studios park. In the middle of the square is the Partners statue. To the right is  Toon Studio

(formerly Animation Courtyard). On the left  Production Courtyard, and at the bottom of the left-wing of the park,  Backlot. The opposite is the area newly created in 2007, called  Production Courtyard, with a reconstruction combining original buildings and Trompe-l ‘oeil of  Hollywood Boulevard.

Toon Studio

It’s the old section called the Animation Courtyard.

A statue of Mickey marks the entrance to Toon Studio.

Art of Disney Animation. (Old name) the big blue hat!

Animation Celebration – Frozen: A Musical Invitation

A musical show on the theme of the snow queen. (very long wait, plan to arrive at least 40 minutes before the session)

Flying Carpet – Flying Carpets Over Agrabah

You’ve always wanted to fly on a magic carpet, it’s the time! This ride is pleasant for young and old alike.

Crush’s Coaster

If you don’t like being shaken all over the place, run away! It is a superb attraction for others; the sensations are different if you start forward or reverse. It doesn’t last very long, and there is usually a lot of waiting (go during parades or early in the morning)

Cars – Four Wheels Rally

A little merry-go-round for our small coach fans

Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop

A fall well-tied feet in a vacuum. If you feel dizzy, don’t go up there! The view from above is breathtaking and allows you to see the park from a different angle.

Slinky Dog Zigzag Spin

A ride that will undoubtedly make the little ones laugh. It is necessary for everyone, and then it is cute this dog.

RC Racer

A blow forward a blowback! Impressive! Thrills guaranteed FAST PASS.

Ratatouille

Rémy’s Crazy Adventure. Sitting in mice and wearing our 3D glasses, we left in the world of Rémy. The adventure is very family and fun. FAST PASS

Courtyard production

Production Courtyard is the section to the left of the Studio 1 exit. It includes attractions beyond the central park square adorned with a statue of  Walt Disney  and

Animagic

A magnificent spectacle of Mickey and the magician. An enchanting moment for the whole family !! Not to miss

Magic cinema (closed)

A selection of the best moments of cinema thanks to a spectacle that draws visitors to the other side of the screen. The little ones are boring.

Studio Tram Tour – Behind the Magic (closed reopens summer 2020 theme cars)

The tram takes us behind the scenes of the film studios. The sets of the films, the explanations on the shootings and special effects, and the icing on the cake the canyon with its fire in which we participate—a good family attraction.

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror

We will live the mystery of the Hollywood Tower Hotel, where the passengers of an elevator disappeared after a stormy night. Aside from many special effects, the highlight of the show is the 13th-floor elevator drop. Impressive, creepy, but sensational! Please open your eyes when you are at the top and admire the scenery. It is magnificent! Even our four-year-old son loved it, which is not the case for all children because it is a little scary as a sensation.

Stitch live!

In this attraction, we meet Stitch for real! We even interact with him; the children love it, the adults too. A hilarious family attraction!

Disney Junior Live on Stage!

We meet life-size puppets, favorite characters of our children.

Backlot

Backlot is the section located at the bottom left of the park. Summary scripting, it represents what studios look like these days. Many large buildings with simple shapes allowing filming can be reused at the end of another filming. This “Lot” is more functional than aesthetic in the history of the park.

Armageddon: The Special Effects. (permanently closed)

Here we are transported to the Mir space station in a meteor shower. Impressive! Ideal to do in winter to warm up.

Rock’s roller coaster (closed reopening 2021 marvel theme)

Here we embark with music in our ears for a trip to thrills! I much prefer this one to space mountain because we are much less shaken there.

Engines… Action! Stunt Show Spectacular,

an impressive stunt show! Little boys love it, and so do Cars fans. A beautiful family attraction where we have a good time.

The Disney studios park will appeal to the whole family, but 2020 is probably not the best year to visit it.
